Enterprise Operations Manager jobs in Midland, TX

Job Summary: We are seeking a hardworking, experienced professional who will oversee all aspects of our South Central Conveyor Belt Services Operations. The Conveyor Belt Services Regional Manager will be responsible for the coordination and completion of projects on time, within budget and within scope as well as establishing a professional working team environment. This is an exempt, salaried position, reporting directly to the President of RAM, Enterprise.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but aren’t limited to:

Safety

• Actively promote Safety as the Company’s top priority
• Implement and maintain company safety program with the help of Safety Director.

Sales and Marketing

• Provide input for Business Unit activities and projections with Business Development.
• Responsible for maintaining appropriate workload in order to achieve Revenue, GP, and NET Business unit requirements.

Operations and Management

• Responsible for all Conveyor Belt Services operational activities within the Region.
• Ability to prepare bids/pricing in collaboration with the estimating group.
• Ensure all operating costs are being monitored closely and maintained within budget as compared to revenue.
• Implement and monitor all service and product contracts in conjunction with Contracts Department.
• Understand and manage labor utilization.
• Maintain, monitor, and look for continuous improvement in all aspects of safety, quality, customer service and productivity.
• Focus on core employee retention and reducing turnover by maintaining a high level of employee engagement.
• Supervise the hiring, training, development, and performance of personnel.
• Work closely with the HR department to ensure all employee issues and concerns are handled effectively.
• Oversee maintenance of vehicles and equipment in conjunction with the Maintenance Department
• Responsible for all Conveyor Belt Services Business unit asset management.

Financial

• Plan and implement annual forecast and budget in conjunction with the Regional Director.
• Meet or exceed net profit target as established above.
• Submit Capital Requests as needed.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

• Minimum of 5 years previous experience in management position in the conveyor systems industry.
• Must possess advanced skills and knowledge for the safe installation and splicing of steel cord and fabric conveyor belt.
• Advanced understanding of MSHA and OSHA rules and regulations
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field, preferred but not required
• Advanced computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office products required
• Knowledge and ability to provide analysis of finances, budgeting and forecasting
• Must possess excellent negotiation, management and problem-solving skills
• Professional level communication and interpersonal skills required, with the ability to maintain confidentiality
• Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgement with respect to matters of significance
