Spur Environmental Services is currently seeking a dispatcher who is motivated and team-oriented to coordinate and dispatch environmental projects and emergency response services. This will include personnel, equipment, supplies, subcontractors, and job tracking for cost-effective completion of projects. This position will operate under the direction of the Operations Manager.

Requirements:
- Minimal of 2 Years working in a dispatch capacity or team leadership.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimal Class C Drivers License.
- Good Driving record with less than 3 violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to work a flexible work schedule, including overtime, and periodical weekends.
- Strong Verbal and Written Communication Skills. (Bilingual a plus)
- Computer Skills to clock in/out, upload Project Photos and Notes into App. Microsoft Office, Field Cap, Excel and Email.
- Successful completion of pre-employment background and drug screening, including, but not limited to, employment verifications, background check and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) search.
Preferences but Not Required:
- Relative Experience: Environmental, Waste Management, Oil / Gas / Pipeline / Exploration & Production, Construction, Industrial Plants, Vacuum Truck / Hydro Vac, Equipment Operating.
Working Conditions:
- Most of the job will be done from the office with some occasional site visits.
- of physical activities, such as long periods of standing, walking, crouching, use of hands, and heavy lifting of up to 100 pounds or more.
Schedule:
- 8-12 Hour Shifts Dependent on Project Needs.
- Monday - Friday, Periodic Weekends.
- Typical Report for Duty 6:30-7:00 am.
- Rotational On Call.
- Overtime Available.
Technical Job Expectations:
- Receives and schedules projects from operations or customer requesting technical/industrial service or resolution of an environmental emergency.
- Evaluate the situation and develop a plan of action with the Operations Manager prior to engaging resources to ensure the solution is congruent with all Federal, State and Company rules and regulations.
- Ensure the client is notified of the plan of action and agrees to payment terms before mobilizing.
- Ensure all billing instructions and purchase orders have been set in Field cap.
- Communicate with the client during and after the project to ensure they are satisfied with the work.
- Communicate any change orders needs to operations and sales as needed.
- Review field tickets and manifests to ensure proper billing of the project.
- Coordinate any third party needs for the project.
- Ensure all rental equipment is called off rent and billed.
- Update Operations Manager/ Project Manager on the status of the project schedule, procurement needs (personnel, equipment, supplies) and potential problems.
- Execute the sampling, analysis processing, documentation, and disposition.
- Once the project is complete.
- Provide sufficient documentation of work orders, complete with personnel times, equipment/supplies used, and subcontractors to ensure all services can be promptly billed to the clients in their entirety.
- Oversee Inventory, compliance, supplies and the maintenance of equipment, such as air monitors, pressure washers, porta-vac units, crew trucks, industrial and response units.
- Coordinate with vendors, transporters, and treatment facilities.
- Reviews and signs RCRA manifests / BOLs, as needed.
- Performs other, related duties as assigned. These duties may not be specifically listed in this description, but they are within the general nature typically associated with the employee’s level of work.
- Fundamental knowledge of industrial chemical compatibility and a developed understanding of environmental regulations.
- Organized, the ability to prioritize work based on an assessment of the severity of each situation, make judgments and decisions to determine response levels, a high sense of urgency, and strong attention to detail.
Compensation for Your Hard Work:
- $48K to 58K depending on experience.
