The Director of Engineering will be responsible for leading and managing Current Product Engineering department by overseeing product development, innovation, and engineering processes to ensure delivery of high-quality, innovative products.

    Compensation Range:  Base pay starting at $190-230k/year (depending upon experience) $20-30k annual bonus!! Total compensation potential of up to $260,000/year!!     Job Responsibilities

        Lead and manage the Current Product Engineering department and Research & Development team by providing them training, leadership, mentorship and guidance.

        Drive and oversee the complete Product Development lifecycle by collaborating with cross functional teams to align product strategies and successfully deliver innovative products.

        Establish and improve Engineering processes, standards, and best practices for efficient and effective product development.

        Designing to established Cost Targets.


    Desired Skills, Knowledge, and Qualifications

        Must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field and 10 years of experience in a leadership role within the engineering department, preferably in an OE manufacturing industry

        Strong technical expertise in mechanical engineering and product development

        Excellent leadership and collaboration skills with the ability to motivate cross-functional teams and develop engineering talent

        Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Programs; MRP/ERP business software as well as Engineering software tools such as CAD & FEA software

        Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

        Ability to develop detailed project plans and timelines

        Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to think critically and strategically

        Must have a valid driver’s license and insurable driving record for travel
