Ellens Equipment Inc is a family owned, agricultural, construction and landscaping equipment dealer. The company offers equipment repair services, parts and sales of several different types of equipment from a variety of manufacturers.
The Service Writer/Manager is responsible for the overall operation and profitability of the service department. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational and managerial abilities and be able to lead and direct a team of service technicians. They should be a capable leader with the ability to train and supervise personnel. He or she will be responsible for regular communication with our customers as well as monitoring the quality of the service work we perform and the efficiency of the technicians.
As a Service Writer/Manager, your job duties will include, but not be limited to:
- Receive and respond to incoming customer service-related calls
- Provide accurate quotes for service inquiries
- Manage a team of 7 service technicians
- Schedule equipment repairs, both in shop and in field
-Schedule new equipment set up
-Finalize all repair billing and ensure correct invoicing
