Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Equipment Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes.     Tracey Road Equipment, Inc. is seeking to hire a full-time Outside Sales Representative for the Queensbury branch. This person is responsible for identifying and establishing new sales & rental opportunities, building and maintaining strong customer relationships, and achieving sales targets. This role requires a self-motivated individual with excellent communication and negotiation skills who can thrive in a competitive and fast-paced sales environment.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Prospect for new clients and generate leads through various methods such as cold-calling, networking, referrals, and industry events within the assigned territory.
    • Prepare and negotiate sales proposals that address the client's specific requirements and demonstrate the value of our products or services.
    • Collaborate with the sales team and other internal departments to ensure the successful delivery of products or services and customer satisfaction.
    • Meet or exceed sales targets and revenue quotas on a consistent basis, while maintaining profitability and client satisfaction.
    • Develop and maintain a sales pipeline, keeping detailed records of sales interactions, customer communications, and prospects while providing regular reports to sales manager and other relevant stakeholders.
    • Promote and sell the full range of product offerings and services that Tracey Road offers.

    Qualifications / Skills

    • Minimum of (3) years of experience in construction equipment sales or related industries and a proven track record of success.
    • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
    • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools to manage leads and sales activities.
    • Ability to work independently, self-motivated, and goal-oriented.
    • Results-oriented, with a passion for exceeding targets and goals.
