Estimator - Cost develops cost estimates for projects based on work scope, specifications, and contract proposals using applicable estimating methodologies and tools. Analyzes project requirements, plans, and specifications to identify labor, material, equipment, and service requirements. Being a Estimator - Cost uses benchmark data, trends, prior estimates, and historical pricing schedules to generate detailed cost estimates that consist of itemized lists of expenses, labor hours, material quantities, and potential cost variations. Depending on the complexity and type of project, may use different estimating methods, mathematical models, or specialized estimating software tools to generate estimates. Additionally, Estimator - Cost provides guidance and training on estimating best practices. May require a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager. Working team member that may validate or coordinate the work of others on a support team. Suggests improvements to process, is a knowledge resource for other team members. The Low Cost Spay Neuter Clinic, a high-volume spay/neuter clinic, has an opening for a dynamic, service-oriented professional to join our front office team.
Our mission at Low Cost Spay Neuter Clinic, Inc. is to provide low cost, high quality spay and neuter surgeries and vaccinations for domestic, feral cats and dogs. Our mission will reduce the unwanted pet overpopulation and promote animal health and safety to the community. By taking the lead in public education to induce responsible pet owners, we will help reduce the unwanted pet population.
Our front office team performs client check-in and out for surgery and vaccine clinic services, updates patient charts, schedules and confirms appointments, calculates and takes payments, and ensures the smooth function of clinic processes.
What we offer:
- A regular schedule, working 4 days per week, two half-day Saturdays per month
