Ethics and Mission Integration Director incorporates the organization's mission, values, and philosophies into the operations, policies, and goals of the organization. Directs and develops education and training programs for employees and the community that communicate and reinforce the organization's value driven mission. Being an Ethics and Mission Integration Director reviews patient care outcomes and issues to ensure alignment with the organization's mission and ethics. Advises leaders with strategic planning and decision-making to ensure ethics and values are considered. Additionally, Ethics and Mission Integration Director typically requires an advanced degree. Typically reports to top management. The Ethics and Mission Integration Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function.     The United States Space Force (USSF) at Peterson Space Force Base is searching for a Director of Mission Assurance for Delta 3/5 EWS (NH-2210-03, GS12/13 equivalent).

    Description: Ideal candidate will serve as a senior Mission Assurance professional in support of development and maintenance of an electromagnetic warfare weapon systems, components, sub-systems, and/or support equipment, focusing on weapon system milestones and squadron cyber infrastructure and maintenance. Considered the Mission Assurance continuity for the organization, candidate provides leadership and management to ensure project/program success. Liaises with the program office and contractors to ensure mission needs are met.

    Key Skills and Abilities:
    1. Knowledge of the organizational and functional responsibilities and operations of an organization.
    2. Knowledge of various office automation software programs, tools, and techniques to support office operations and produce a variety of documents such as letters, reports, spreadsheets, databases, and graphs.
    3. Knowledge of structure, programs and work methods of organization for personnel/manning issues.
    4. Skill in fact-finding, problem analysis, problem resolutions, and development of concrete action plans to solve problems.
    5. Ability to gather, analyze and present facts, communicate effectively, using tact and courtesy and possess the ability to plan, organize work, and meet deadlines.
    6. Ability to plan and organize management programs and functions of an organization.
    7. Knowledge of project management principles.
    8. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
    9. Ability to plan and carry out reviews of unit and/or contractor security programs, analyze and evaluate reports and conditions to recommend remedial actions.
    10. Ability to establish effective professional working relationships with coworkers and customers, contributing to a cooperative working environment and successful accomplishment of the mission.

    • Must be a U.S Citizen.
    • PCS/Incentive funding is not available.
    • Must be able to obtain and maintain Top-Secret security clearance.
    • Required to handle and safeguard sensitive and classified information in accordance with regulations to reduce potential compromise.
    • May be required travel away from the normal duty station on military or commercial aircraft.
    • Random drug testing may be required depending upon the position being filled.
    • May be required to work overtime on an unscheduled or emergency basis.
    • This position is not eligible for telework.
