Ethics and Mission Integration Director incorporates the organization's mission, values, and philosophies into the operations, policies, and goals of the organization. Directs and develops education and training programs for employees and the community that communicate and reinforce the organization's value driven mission. Being an Ethics and Mission Integration Director reviews patient care outcomes and issues to ensure alignment with the organization's mission and ethics. Advises leaders with strategic planning and decision-making to ensure ethics and values are considered. Additionally, Ethics and Mission Integration Director typically requires an advanced degree.     Description

    Job Summary: 

    The Integration Engineer will play a critical role in the seamless operation of the university’s application stack, ensuring efficient data flow and system interoperability across various platforms including Student Information Systems (SIS), Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Advancement, housing, and payment processors. This position requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in interface design and system integration within a higher education environment.

     

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Design and implement integration solutions across the university’s application stack. This can include creating custom endpoints or leveraging built-in integration engines.
    • Develop and maintain a robust integration architecture that supports the university’s strategic goals and enhances user experience.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective system interfaces.
    • Ensure data integrity and security across all integrated systems.
    • Monitor and optimize the performance of integration platforms and interfaces.
    • Provide technical leadership and guidance in the selection and implementation of integration tools and technologies.
    • Stay abreast of the latest trends and best practices in system integration and apply this knowledge to improve university systems.

    Qualifications


    Education/Experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in system integration, with a focus on higher education applications.
    • Demonstrated experience with designing interfaces across SIS, CRM, ERP, and other relevant higher education platforms.
    • Strong understanding of data exchange protocols and integration patterns.
    • Proficiency in programming languages and technologies relevant to system integration.
    • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.

     

    Required Skills:

    • Experience with cloud-based integration services.
    • Knowledge of higher education processes and regulatory requirements.
    • Familiarity with middleware and API management platforms. Strong understanding of SOAP/RESTful APIs and data formats like XML and JSON.

     

    Preferred Skills:

    • Experience with cloud-based database services.
    • Knowledge of Microsoft/Linux server operating systems and shell scripting.
    • Proficiency in SQL and database programming languages.
    • Experience with data warehousing and business intelligence tools.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
    • Excellent organizational skills to prioritize tasks, develop processes, meet deadlines and work in an environment with changing priorities
    • Self-starter, motivated to work without abundant supervision.
    • Ability to define realistic, specific goals and objectives and prioritize them. Analyze situations accurately and adopt an effective course of action. Meet schedules and timelines. Work independently as well as a team player. Strong customer service skills

    • Strong customer service skills with familiarity of the ITIL v4 framework and using IT Identity Access, Service and Change Management processes.
