**Part-Time Director of Nursing (DON) Wanted for Small Pain Management Surgery Center**

**Position:** Part-Time Director of Nursing (DON)
**Location:** Mission Viejo, CA
**Schedule:** 2 days a week (Monday and Tuesdays) to help with nursing duties, 1 day a week for administrative tasks
**Salary:** Competitive, commensurate with experience

**Responsibilities:**

1. **Nursing Duties (2 Days a Week):**
- Provide exemplary nursing care to patients undergoing pain management procedures.
- Assist with pre-operative and post-operative patient assessments and care.
- Ensure adherence to clinical protocols and safety measures.
- Collaborate with the medical team to optimize patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

2. **Administrative Work (1 Day a Week):**
- Supervise and implement Medicare guidelines and regulations (This is a Quad A Certified Facility)
- Oversee compliance with state and federal healthcare laws.
- Develop and update policies and procedures to maintain high standards of care.
- Conduct staff training and education on relevant healthcare policies and procedures.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and risk management activities. - Help with Scheduling staff and supervise their performance.

**Qualifications:**

- Valid RN license in State of California
- Proven experience in nursing leadership and administration, preferably in an ambulatory surgery center or similar setting
- Strong knowledge of Medicare guidelines and regulations
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
