Ethics & Compliance Training Manager plans and manages the organization's ethics and compliance training programs. Conducts needs analyses and designs training and development programs. Being an Ethics & Compliance Training Manager interfaces with functional groups outside the ethics and compliance office to ensure curriculum content and methods meet legal, regulatory, and corporate objectives. Keeps abreast of pending regulatory developments, such as Sarbanes Oxley, through reference sources and interacts with appropriate members of management to obtain insight and ensure training programs meet legislative agendas, at both the Federal and State levels. Additionally, Ethics & Compliance Training Manager oversees the purchase of all training modules and interfaces with outside vendors and contractors. May require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Ethics & Compliance Training Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes. To be an Ethics & Compliance Training Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 to 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Product Manager, Medicare Compliance

  • The Product Manager, Medicare Compliance is responsible to oversee the adherence to Section 111/ Mandatory Insurer Reporting (MIR) compliance. This position has the possibility for remote work from home or hybrid home/office arrangement. The Product Manager, Medicare Compliance provides assistance to internal and external customers to facilitate MIR compliance. Responsibility includes monitoring the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid (CMS) for issued notices and regulations related to MIR.


    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Ensures claims Section 111 / Mandatory Insurer Reporting (MIR) are correctly completed and submitted to CMS within CMS issued guidelines
    • Provide ongoing MIR compliance education and training to internal and external customers
    • Trouble-shoot reporting errors and questions with internal and external customers
    • Facilitate system enhancements to MIR platform
    • Chairs Mandatory Insurer Reporting quarterly task force
    • Maintain current tracking of MIR customers and profile reports
    • Responsible to identify and facilitate timely implementation changes to adhere to current CMS regulations related to MIR
    • Assure current MIR knowledge compliance via regular review of CMS websites and attend CMS/ industry hosted webinars and meetings to
    • Requires punctual and consistent attendance
    • Maintain HIPAA compliance in all aspects of communications
    • Comply with all safety rules and regulations during work hours in conjunction with the Injury and Illness Prevention Program (IIPP)
    • Additional duties as assigned

    KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

    • Proficient in Microsoft applications especially Excel and SharePoint
    • Detail oriented

    • The ability to work independently and collaboratively with multiple departments
    • The ability to work in a fast paced/production environment

    EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

    • Bachelor’s degree
    • Experience in Medicare Secondary Payer Compliance
    • Experience within the insurance industry, managed care or related field preferred

    PAY RANGE:

    CorVel uses a market based approach to pay and our salary ranges may vary depending on your location. Pay rates are established taking into account the following factors: federal, state, and local minimum wage requirements, the geographic location differential, job-related skills, experience, qualifications, internal employee equity, and market conditions. Our ranges may be modified at any time.

    For leveled roles (I, II, III, Senior, Lead, etc.) new hires may be slotted into a different level, either up or down, based on assessment during interview process taking into consideration experience, qualifications, and overall fit for the role. The level may impact the salary range and these adjustments would be clarified during the offer process.

    Pay Range: $88,466 – $114,904
