**Overview:**

This is a Salary plus Commission based position. There will be commission incenstives for external sales made.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Event Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for organizing and executing successful events, possess excellent communication skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

**Responsibilities:**

- Plan, organize, and execute a variety of events such as conferences, weddings, corporate meetings, and social gatherings

- Coordinate all event logistics including venue selection, catering, transportation, accommodations, and audiovisual equipment

- Develop event budgets and ensure all expenditures remain within the set budget

- Negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers to secure services at the best possible rates

- Provide exceptional customer service to clients and attendees to ensure a positive event experience

- Oversee event setup, breakdown, and cleanup to ensure everything runs smoothly

- Handle any issues or emergencies that may arise during events

**Experience:**

- Proven experience in event planning and coordination

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively

- Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously

- Knowledge of hospitality industry practices and standards

- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment

- Proficiency in budgeting and financial management for events

- Experience in catering arrangements and menu selections
