Acts as a liaison with product/service suppliers to determine validity of complaints and design and implement product or process change to reduce the number of complaints. Being an Executive Response Manager requires a thorough knowledge of the products/services offered and extensive customer service skills. Exercises a large degree individual discretion. The Manager, Emergency Planning and Response maintains and implements the emergency management preparedness and response programs at the Corpus Christi Refinery. This includes assuring the readiness of the Corpus Christi Refinery Emergency Response Team (ERT) and Emergency Management Organizations to respond to and safely manage all types of emergencies that could occur in the refinery in a cost-effective manner that protects facility assets, the employees and the local communities. This position interacts with city, state, and federal agencies to facilitate good working relationships and open lines of communications.

Associate’s Degree in related field plus ten (10) years of experience in Emergency Planning Response equivalent experience; OR twelve (12) years of experience in Emergency Planning Response equivalent experience in lieu of degree.
Experience with Refinery/Petrochemical Plant tactical and supervisory emergency response, situational and firefighter response complement, and medical response background required.
Candidates must be able to obtain a TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credentials Card)
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS: The Maritime Transportation Security Act requires all persons who will need unescorted access to a regulated facility to have a valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC), issued in accordance with the rules established by the United States Coast Guard and the Transportation Security Administration.
