Executive Response Manager oversees the resolution of customer complaints that have escalated to the highest level within the organization. Acts as a liaison with product/service suppliers to determine validity of complaints and design and implement product or process change to reduce the number of complaints. Being an Executive Response Manager requires a thorough knowledge of the products/services offered and extensive customer service skills. Exercises a large degree individual discretion. Additionally, Executive Response Manager may require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. To be an Executive Response Manager typically requires 4 to 7 years of related experience. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project.     High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)

    One to two years previous experience in a similar position including some supervisory training or experience

    Basic computer skills required

    Responsibilities

    Supervise housekeeping and laundry operations to ensure product quality standards are met and that optimum service is provided to hotel guests according to hotel, brand and/or company business objectives

    Participate in the preparation of the annual departmental operating budget and financial plans

    Monitor budget and control expenses with a focus on increased productivity and decreased turnover

    Maintain proper inventory levels, managing cost per room for supplies and labor (i.e. bed & bath linen reuse and laundry operation)

    Manage day-to-day staffing requirements, plan and assign work and establish performance and development goals for employees

    Provide mentoring, coaching and regular feedback to help manage conflict and improve associate performance and morale

    Educate and train all employees in compliance with brand, governmental and safety regulations

    Ensure staff is properly trained and has the tools and equipment to carry out job duties

    Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other department heads

    May assist with deep cleaning projects and/or assist with housekeeping staff during high-volume periods

    Inspect all assigned rooms and public areas to ensure furnishings, guest room supplies, equipment, linens and public areas are clean and in good repair to meet guest satisfaction

    Advise associates of deficiencies and instruct on corrective action

    Provide adequate retraining as needed

    Routinely perform all housekeeping duties necessary, including making beds as well as vacuuming and cleaning guest rooms to ensure guest satisfaction

    Respond to guest complaints and special requests, ensure corrective action is taken to achieve complete guest satisfaction

    Comply with special needs and requests of the guests

    Stay 100% current with brand standards and ensure each guest room meets or exceeds all brand standards

    Maintain and order supplies and equipment in a timely and efficient manner while minimizing waste and maintaining “green” initiatives (i.e. energy conservation)

    Follow procedures for security of lost and found items

    Attend monthly department meetings and training sessions as necessary

    Other duties as assigned

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $12.00 - $17.00 per hour
