Facilities Manager manages the maintenance, construction, repair, and refurbishment operations of one or more facilities or properties. Implements policies and procedures that ensure the optimal functioning of buildings, grounds, and associated equipment. Being a Facilities Manager monitors daily building operations of all systems, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, safety, and waste management to ensure reliability. Tracks work orders for quality, adherence to service standards, and budgeted guidelines. Additionally, Facilities Manager trains supervisors and employees in best practices for maintenance work, service and safety standards, and local laws and regulations. As a Facilities Assistant at Signature Solar, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized workplace. You will be responsible for ensuring that our facilities are in pristine condition, reflecting our commitment to excellence in all aspects of our operations.
A successful candidate must be able to:
Perform routine cleaning tasks to maintain the cleanliness of offices, common areas, and restrooms.
Sanitize surfaces regularly to promote a healthy and hygienic work environment.
Responsible for proper disposal of waste and recycling materials.
Monitor and empty trash receptacles regularly.
Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors to keep them clean and free of debris.
Perform periodic floor maintenance tasks, such as waxing and buffing.
Ensure that restrooms are clean, stocked with supplies, and well-maintained.
Monitor and refill soap dispensers, paper towels, and toilet paper.
Assist in setting up and breaking down workspaces for events or meetings.
Collaborate with other teams to support facility needs during special projects.
Report any maintenance issues, damages, or necessary repairs to the appropriate personnel.
Keep track of janitorial supplies and inform the designated person when supplies need replenishing.
All other duties as assigned.
