TFPU is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to strengthening families and protecting children in Cache, Franklin, and Rich Counties through 24-hour therapeutic child center, education, therapeutic services and the Starfish Children’s shelter.

The Family Place Utah (TFPU) is seeking self-motivated and trustworthy individual for the position of a Family Educator. The individual selected will serve as the integral team member of the Education Department. This position is a part time 20 hours per week. The office this individual would be based out of is the Hyrum location and it is 100% in person position.

General Description:

The Family Place Utah (TFPU) Family Educator is currently responsible for teaching assigned curriculum. Family Educator currently would provide the services either in the home, virtual or in a group setting, travel to Franklin County, Idaho to provide family education, and editing the Parents Place Podcast.

Qualifications:

1. Degree in a helping field (Social Work, Human Development and Family Studies, etc.)

2. Two years’ experience working with children.

3. Provide your own transportation. (Mileage reimbursed)

4. Annual clearance of a Background Criminal Investigation

• Excellent communication and public speaking skills
• Engaging, motivating presenter
• Leadership and time management skills
• Computer skills (word, excel, social media, etc.).
