Closes: Open Until Filled The Migrant Coordinator/Family Service Worker is a full-time position within our Children’s Services Program. Coordinator duties include directing, administering, and coordinating the activities of the Migrant program in support of policies, goals, and objectives, recruitment of eligible families into the program; and assistance in health and other screenings. Family Service Worker responsibilities include providing comprehensive social services to all enrolled children and their families. This position will work primarily with children and their families whose native language is not English in accessing educational services and other resources, while adhering to the purpose and mission of Community Action of Southern Kentucky, Inc. FSW duties also include providing comprehensive social services to Migrant Head Start children and their families.

Qualifications: Minimum qualification for this position is an Associate Degree in Education, Human Services, Social Work, or closely related field, with a Bachelor’s Degree highly desired; however, candidates with equivalent years of experience will be considered. A valid Kentucky Driver’s license and have or be able to obtain a Commercial Driving Licensec(CDL). This position requires a pre-employment drug screen. This position requires individual to be bilingual in Spanish. Good record keeping and communication skills a must.

Salary: Salary for this position will be based on education and experience, with an excellent benefit package.
