Field Service Engineer provides on-site support and technical assistance with various products or equipment. Installs, configures, troubleshoots, and maintains products/equipment. Being a Field Service Engineer identifies, analyzes, and repairs product failures. Orders and replaces parts as needed. Additionally, Field Service Engineer develops detailed service reports to document service visits, issues, and troubleshooting actions and logs and tracks maintenance activities. Answers basic customer questions about product features. May provide some customer training. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Field Service Engineer work is closely managed. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. - Minimum 2 year’s applicable experience
- Experience servicing and troubleshooting multi-vendor general medical X-ray & medical imaging systems to include CT / MR (Siemens, GE, Philips, etc.).
The ideal candidate(s) should have at least 2-5 yrs experience in the field as a multi-vendor CT/MR, x-ray / Imaging Field Service Engineer, AA degree or higher in Electronics Tech required or Military equivalent. Experience is required servicing multi-vendor medical imaging equipment, specifically CT / MR.
