Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Director of Accounting and Finance to lead our financial operations in a remote capacity. Key Responsibilities

• Direct accounting functions including Billing, Accounts Receivable/Payable, General Ledger, and Revenue Recognition.
• Oversee the consolidation and financial reporting for multiple entities.
• Timely preparation and delivery of monthly financial statements.
• Conduct research on technical accounting subjects to guarantee compliance.
• Facilitate month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Uphold quality control over all financial transactions and reporting.
• Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Provide ad-hoc analyses and manage various reporting projects, including decision support and metrics.
• Participate in forecasting and budgeting efforts.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal reporting mandates and tax submissions.
  
  

Required Skills

• Profound understanding of accounting principles and processes.
• Expertise in accounting software, especially Sage Intacct.
• Advanced Excel skills for financial modeling and data analysis.
• Strong communication and interpersonal capabilities.
  
  

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in finance and accounting, with a preference for experience in a SaaS environment.
• Advanced degree in Accounting.
• CPA or CMA certification is preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
