Financial Systems Analyst implements, maintains, and updates the systems that store and process financial data. Modifies system menus, edits spreadsheets and reports, and troubleshoots system problems. Being a Financial Systems Analyst imports files to and exports files from financial databases. Generates reports and conducts analyses on financial systems data. Additionally, Financial Systems Analyst collaborates with internal teams to determine primary needs and goals and creates solutions to meet those objectives. Trains staff on the use of financial systems and acts as a liaison to the information technology department. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Financial Systems Analyst work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project.     Job Description:

    As a Financial Analyst specializing in Expense Management and Invoice Validation, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in handling financial transactions. Your responsibilities will revolve around scrutinizing expenses, validating invoices and implementing robust processes to optimize financial operations. 


    Key Responsibilities: 

    • Conduct comprehensive reviews of USESI expenses across various departments, verifying accuracy, and identifying discrepancies. 
    • Scrutinize incoming invoices, ensuring alignment with contracts, purchase orders, and regulatory requirements. Validate invoice accuracy, resolve discrepancies, and ensure timely payment. 
    • Develop and implement streamlined processes for expense management and invoice validation to improve efficiency and accuracy. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial workflows. 
    • Ensure adherence to financial regulations, USESI policies, and accounting standards. Support internal audits related to expense management and invoice validation.
    • Liaise with vendors or suppliers regarding invoice discrepancies, manage RFQ for vendors and negotiate favorable terms to optimize expenses. 
    • Collaborate with IT teams for system enhancements, automation, or integration of financial tools to streamline expense and invoice management processes. 


    Qualifications and Skills:

    • Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field is a plus.
    • Proven experience (2 to 3 years) in financial analysis, expense management, and invoice validation within a corporate environment
    • Proficiency in financial software, ERP systems, and MS Excel for date analysis and reporting. 
    • Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to interpret complex financial data.
    • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders, vendors, and cross-functional teams. 
    • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a dynamic work environment.
