Based in Springfield, OH we're a full-service fire sprinkler contractor with a long history of success and currently we are looking for a Fire Sprinkler Designer to join our team.

What you will be doing:

• Design Commercial/Industrial projects (wet, dry, preaction, etc)
• Design fire protection sprinkler systems
• Review work order and procedural manuals to determine critical dimensions of design
• Make hydraulic calculations on all projects
• Submit drawings for approval and permit acquisitions
• Conduct field surveys
• Provide material list for fabrication
• Communicate with team members inside and outside the organization
• Attend project meetings when necessary
• Maintain job status reports for the project management cycle

What you need for this position:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1 years of Fire Sprinkler Design experience
• Strong CAD Designing experience with HydraCAD
• Experience with BIM modeling and field surveying
• Experience designing Wet, Dry, Pre-action, and other systems
• Experience designing Fire Pump systems
• Experience designing commercial, residential and industrial sprinkler systems
• Knowledge of relevant NFPA Codes
• Strong mathematical skills
• Active NICET Certification is a PLUS

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
