    Responsibilities:
    • Enforce local, state, and federal laws, maintaining peace and order within the community;
    • Provide timely and efficient emergency response, ensuring the safety of individuals in need;
    • Generate detailed written reports, conduct interviews, and testify at court proceedings, contributing to the justice system;
    • Work under the supervision of experienced professionals, including the Chief of Police;
    • Enjoy the independence of performing your duties with professionalism and integrity.

    Qualifications:
    • High school diploma or equivalent;
    • Minimum age requirement of 21 years;
    • Possess an APSC Basic Certification or higher. Or certified in another state;
    • Possess a valid Alaska driver's license or the ability to obtain one.
