    Fire Sprinkler Technician:

    The successful Fire Sprinkler Technician must be dependable and mechanically inclined in laying out, fabricating, assembling, installing, and maintaining fire sprinkler piping.

    Responsibilities:

    • Perform fire sprinkler system installations or services
    • Install pipe systems and valves
    • Cut, thread, assemble and bond piping and tubes according to specifications
    • Modify, clean and maintain pipe systems, units and fittings
    • Remove and replace worn components
    • Calculate material measurements to verify specifications
    • Mentor and coach fire sprinkler helpers on proper repair and service techniques

    Requirements:

    • Advanced technical school training or related fire sprinkler work experience preferred
    • Basic knowledge of hand tools, including electric and battery-powered equipment
    • Proficient in basic computer skills
    • Demonstrate problem-solving skills
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
    • Must be able to lift 10-50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally
    • May be exposed to temperature changes, small spaces, and confined spaces
    • High school diploma or GED

    What makes you stand out:

    • NICET 1 & 2 Certification(s) preferred.
    • Comfortable utilizing mobile electronics (smartphone, tablet, etc.) to complete and transmit inspection documents.
    • Ability to present information and respond to questions from managers, customers, and AHJs in a professional and educational manner.
    • Additional experience in testing/ inspecting fire alarm systems.
    • Experience working with fire alarm systems in any capacity.
    • 3-5 years experience working with fire sprinkler systems in any capacity.
    • Possessing a current Denver Journeyman's License.
    • Enthusiasm for personal/ professional development, new technologies, and improving processes.
    • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
