Job Summary of the Training Coordinator: The Training Coordinator is responsible for coordinating, developing, and delivering training programs for all departments of the organization. The Training Coordinator works with department supervisors and the Human Resources Director to determine necessary programs. The Training Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the facilities are compliant with ISO & IATF certification requirements specific to training and training records.
Job Responsibilities of the Training Coordinator :
· Responsible for developing new and maintaining current training programs.
· Responsible for developing and maintaining training programs used for new employee orientation and development.
· Responsible for documenting through testing and observation the effectiveness of the program materials.
· Must possess an understanding of training program development, adult learning principles and instruction techniques.
· Present in-house training programs & job-related skills to all employees.
· Develop and maintain training programs, training records and validate training effectiveness to maintain ISO and IATF certifications.
· Ensure that training programs developed and presented are maintained in such a way they can be delivered to other company locations for use.
· Assist the Human Resources Director with work group assessments.
· Maintains all training records of employees.
· Support the Environmental, Safety & Health Engineer to develop required and effective environmental and safety related training.
Education & Experience of the Training Coordinator :
· Requires an Associates or Bachelors degree
· Prior experience in a Training or Teaching role
· Manufacturing industry experience a plus but not required.
· Must be proficient with computer skills (i.e., Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PowerPoint, Outlook)
· Must have the ability to interact with individuals throughout the company when conducting training programs.
· Must possess excellent communication skills, including both written & oral, as well as negotiation skills.
