Foreclosure Specialist jobs in Hempstead, NY

Cullen and Dykman LLP is a full-service law firm that has been serving clients since 1850. We are seeking a Commercial Foreclosure Paralegal with 4 years of experience working closely with attorneys representing lenders. This in-person position is based in our Uniondale, Long Island office.

The Paralegal position will report to the partner in charge of the practice area as well as other attorneys.

Responsibilities

· Provide assistance to attorneys in all aspects of the foreclosure process from initial intake, preparing default/acceleration letters, drafting pleadings and motions, settlements (workouts), foreclosure sales and post-sale activities.

· Prepare and update department calendar.

· Availability to work overtime as needed.

Requirements

• Four-year college degree
• 4 years’ commercial foreclosure experience
• Familiarity with NJ practice, a plus
• Must be conscientious, detail-oriented and a team player.
• Must be able to assume immediate responsibility and prioritize assignments and handle an active caseload.
• Ability to work independently and multi-task required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• Proficiency in MS Office suite.

We offer a competitive salary, an excellent benefits package and a collaborative, friendly environment. The salary range for this role is $60,000-$75,000. Actual salary will be commensurate with the candidate's qualifications and relevant experience.
