JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary/Objective
We are hiring a qualified HR Associate for supporting the daily activities and administrative tasks of our HR department.
Essential Functions
- Assist with day-to-day operations of the HR functions and duties
- Provide clerical and administrative support to Human Resources Manager and President of EP Logistics
- Acts as first point of contact to all employees, employee relations operations.
- Compile and update employee records (hard and soft copies)maintaining applications, résumés, and applicant logs. HRIS system (ADP)
- Process documentation and prepare reports relating to personnel activities (staffing, recruitment, training, events)
- Coordinate/schedule (meetings, training, surveys, etc.) and take minutes
- Recruiting 50 %
- Onboarding new hires and exit transitions.
- Help with employee requests regarding human resources questions.
- Coordinate communication with candidates and Agencies to schedule interviews
- Assist with Warnings and Disciplinary actions
- Publish and update job advertisements on online platforms and careers pages
- EVENTS – help with event planning (Holiday celebration/ Thanksgiving /Christmas/ employee appreciation / Birthdays)
- We Host events a few times a year and some are after business hours. It is mandatory that Hr. Associate/ assistant attends and helps with the organization (with the approval of the HR Manager).
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- 1 year Experience in Human Resources Management or a relevant field
- Prior experience as an HR Clerk
- Experience with HRMS and MS Office, especially MS Excel
- Sound knowledge of all HR processes (e.g. recruitment, onboarding, training, talent management etc.)
- Sound knowledge of all labor regulations
- Experience with resume databases as well as ATS
- Sound knowledge of full cycle recruiting
- Strong verbal as well as non-verbal communication skills
- Exceptional time-management and organizational skills
Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibility.
Work Environment
This job operates in an office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, scanners and filing cabinets.

The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. If the employee feel is too much for lifting capacity the employee should notify the supervisor to ask for another employee assistant.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Pay: $13.50 - $14.50 per hour
