Fundraising Manager manages an organization's fundraising strategies, campaigns, capital development initiatives, and operations to support the overall organizational development and revenue objectives. Implements donor stewardship programs to identify, develop, retain, and nurture a portfolio of individual and institutional donors. Being a Fundraising Manager works to develop potential corporate or governmental partnerships and grant funding opportunities. Creates collaborative coordination between staff and internal stakeholders to plan events and communications to increase donor engagement. Additionally, Fundraising Manager uses technology to manage and monitor donor information and produce data-driven measurement and reporting of the progress of fundraising goals. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Fundraising Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Fundraising Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1-3 years supervisory experience may be required.     In addition to the role of a Manager, key parts of your day to day will consist of:
    • Recruiting and rewarding outstanding Team members
    • Ensuring safety and security protocols are followed. Including being aware of local and national healthy and food safety codes
    • Maintaining business records and analyzing them to help increase sales
    • Identifying and contacting prospective Guests to promote sales
    • Supporting local and national marketing initiatives, ensuring restaurant is ready on every level for the beginning of a new marketing window
    • Planning special events and promotions

    PREREQUISITES 
    Education: High school diploma or equivalent, college degree preferred
    Experience: A minimum of 2 years in a restaurant environment, experience in supervising and training staff.


    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
    Must be an excellent communicator with the ability to deal with all levels of team members. Computer knowledge is essential.


    Physical: Ability to work any area of the restaurant as needed and to operate computerized Point of Sale system/cash register. This position requires bending, standing and walking the entire workday. Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.
