We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Furnace Operator to join our team. As a Furnace Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining furnaces used in the production process.

Your attention to detail and ability to follow instructions will be crucial in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our furnaces.

Responsibilities :

• Operate and monitor furnaces to ensure proper functioning and adherence to safety protocols
• Load and unload materials into the furnace according to production requirements
• Adjust furnace controls and settings to achieve desired temperatures and production specifications
• Monitor gauges, meters, and other instruments to ensure proper furnace operation
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of furnaces to keep them in optimal condition
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or malfunctions that may arise during furnace operation
• Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a safe working environment
• Document and record furnace operation data, including temperature readings and production logs
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines

Requirements :

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proven experience as a Furnace Operator or similar role
• Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of furnace operation principles
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
• Physical stamina and ability to work in a physically demanding environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot furnace issues
• Good communication and teamwork skills

Work Experience

Must be able to work weekends and nights.
