Furniture Finisher restores and preserves furniture using variety of hand and power tools. Applies knowledge of fabrics and wood furniture to complete projects. Being a Furniture Finisher may require a high school diploma or its equivalent. May have to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty with 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Additionally, Furniture Finisher is familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. The Concrete Finisher, under direction of a Foreman, will be responsible for placing, finishing, protecting and repairing concrete. Concrete finishers are often responsible for setting the concrete forms and ensuring they have the correct depth and slope.

While performing the duties of this Job, the Concrete Finisher is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The Concrete Finisher is frequently required to walk and reach with hands and arms. The Concrete Finisher is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The Concrete Finisher must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Ascending and descending ladders or stairs is required, and movement on uneven terrain is occasionally required to carry out essential duties. Occasional driving of a vehicle is required.
