General Laborer, Sr. jobs in Waterloo, IA

We are looking for a motivated, dependable and people oriented person interested in full time employment as a general laborer. We offer comparative wages and competitive benefits.

Primary Job Duties:

Clean and prepares propane tanks and equipment for painting.

(washing, sanding, cleaning, scrapping)

Prime and/or paint tanks and equipment using brushes, spray gun or roller.

Stencil , sticker and stamp tanks and equipment as needed.

Clean and upkeep paint and equipment / booth and work station

Perform daily tasks around the plant.

(Fix tanks, fill tanks, pickup and/or deliver tanks/propane tank cages/equipment )

Requirements:

Requires standing, sitting, walking, bending, stretching, climbing, pushing, pulling and reaching. Requires standing for long periods of time although there will be times your sitting as well.

Must be able to lift, push and pull up to 60lbs. frequently throughout the course of a day (carrying full tanks ect.).

Must be willing to work outside in the elements. Some painting will be done inside a paint booth. All tank filling is done inside as well. Most of the work you do in the winter is inside.

Work schedule is Monday thru Friday 8a.m. to 4:30p.m. (includes a 30 minute unpaid lunch). 40 hour work week every week.

Two weeks paid vacation after set period of continuous employment

Paid Holidays: Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years Day

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
