General Warehouse Associate Shifts:

• A Shift: Monday-Thursday 5:00AM-3:30PM
• B Shift: Friday-Sunday 5:00AM-5:30PM
• C Shift Monday-Thursday 4:00PM-2:30AM

Although all General Warehouse Associates are assigned to a specific department and Supervisor, they are all eligible to work in any area of the warehouse if needed.  Because of this, it is important that everyone applying for a job at the Sierra Distribution Center understand that they must be able to perform the functions listed below.

The employment requirements are:

• Manual material handling of objects such as totes, boxes, garments or other items up to 10 lbs constantly, up to 50 lbs frequently.  Objects may be handled between heights as low as the floor and as high as the thigh, waist and shoulder constantly and above the head (96 inches) occasionally.  Objects are handled to and from trucks, pallets, nestainers, trolleys, conveyers, boxes and totes.
• Manual transportation of pallet jacks and trolleys requiring 30 lbs of force on an occasional to frequent basis.  Manual transportation of empty nestainers on an occasional basis.
• Count select and sort objects such as totes, boxes, merchandise or other items by style, color, store order or other criteria.
• Match receipts against purchase orders.
• Ticket merchandise or other items with gum labels, swiftach gun or pin tickets.
• Pack or unpack merchandise or other items into or out of boxes.  Seal boxes for shipping when packing completed.
• Remove or sort merchandise by style, store order or other criteria.
