Glass Cutter/Finisher operates automatic equipment that burns, scores, and breaks continuous sheets of glass into specific lengths. May require a high school diploma or its equivalent. Being a Glass Cutter/Finisher may have to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty with 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Additionally, Glass Cutter/Finisher relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Bennett's Glass Inc. is looking for a responsible person willing and able to work. The type of work would be window/patio door and shower enclosure installs. This job does require a current driver's license and a good driving record, do to the amount of travel. Basic glass understanding i.e. how to cut, handle etc. is a plus! But we are willing to train. Applicants must be willing and able to work in team/group settings as well as take the initiative and be able to work without direct supervision. This is a full time position, 40 hours per week with Overtime availability. The rate of pay will be determined at the interview and based on experience the applicants have.
