Glass Cutter/Finisher operates automatic equipment that burns, scores, and breaks continuous sheets of glass into specific lengths. May require a high school diploma or its equivalent. Being a Glass Cutter/Finisher may have to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty with 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Additionally, Glass Cutter/Finisher relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Applicant must have a good mechanical aptitude and excellent customer service skills. Be able to pass a drug, DMV and background check. They should be in good physical condition (able to lift at least 30 lbs.), and be able to work in all weather conditions. Must be able to work independently.
Experience is a plus, but not required. We provide paid, hands on training, a work truck and all the tools necessary to be successful.
Applicant will go on site to perform auto glass repair and replacement after a paid training period.
