Glass Cutter/Finisher operates automatic equipment that burns, scores, and breaks continuous sheets of glass into specific lengths. May require a high school diploma or its equivalent. Being a Glass Cutter/Finisher may have to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty with 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Additionally, Glass Cutter/Finisher relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Glass Fabricator/Warehouse Worker to join our team. As a Glass Fabricator/Warehouse Worker, you will be responsible for performing various tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the warehouse. This includes glass fabrication, receiving, storing, and distributing materials, tools, equipment, and products.
Responsibilities:
- Glass fabrication
- Receive incoming shipments and verify their contents
- Unload materials from trucks and stack them in designated areas
- Prepare orders by pulling materials and packing them for shipment
- Operate forklifts and other equipment to move materials within the warehouse
- Use hand tools, such as calipers and soldering equipment, to assemble or repair products
- Assist with inventory control by conducting regular stock counts and reporting discrepancies
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines
Experience:
- Previous experience work in glass fabrication is preferred
- Proficiency in operating hand tools, forklifts, cranes, and other warehouse equipment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
