We are looking for an energetic person to help launch a new brand. An experienced Retail Manager to oversee and launch our new store showcasing high end outdoor living products to a discerning clientele. Oversee the daily operations of selling spas, saunas, outdoor kitchen appliances, firepits, pool furniture, spa and pool chemicals. You will be the one to ensure smooth running of operations to maximize sales and minimize costs.

The ideal candidate will have experience in boutique retail store management and knowledge of diverse business subjects such as sales, marketing, inventory, point of sale, etc. Pool/Outdoor Living retail experience a plus.

The goal is to manage our store in ways that boost revenues and develop the business.

Responsibilities

· Set up and organize all store operations

· Plan product and merchandise displays

· Prepare and control the store’s budget aiming for minimum expenditure and efficiency

· Monitor stock levels and purchases and ensure they stay within budget

· Deal with complaints from customers to maintain the store’s reputation

· Inspect the areas in the store and resolve any issues that might arise

· Keep abreast of market trends to determine the need for improvements in the store

· Analyze sales and revenue reports and make forecasts

· Ensure the store fulfils all legal health and safety guidelines

Requirements and skills

· Proven experience as retail manager or in other managerial position

· Knowledge of retail management best practices

· Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities

· Excellent organizing and leadership skills

· Commercial awareness

· Analytical mind and familiarity with data analysis principles

· Excellent knowledge of retail management and point of sale (POS) software

· Retail Store Hours: Saturdays 9-2 REQUIRED, Tuesday through Friday opens at 10, closes at 5 or 6, closed Monday.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $50,000.00 per year
