Job Summary/Primary Role
The Coordinator for ABWE GO plays a key role in keeping the ABWE|GO ministry division organized and on-track. Serving as an International Headquarters (IHQ) point of contact for missionaries around the globe, this individual will be highly relational and organized to ensure that the needs of the ABWE GO team are cared for in a conscientious manner.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Serving as the first point of contact for ABWE GO missionaries and providing a bridge for smooth communication between the missionaries and other departments.
- Completing a variety of administrative tasks for multiple Executive Directors including managing calendars and schedules and preparing and proof-reading documents/media for meetings and presentations.
- Assisting in setting both department and inter-departmental project priorities and tracking to completion.
- Sending out reminders for required reports (quarterly, annually, etc.), ensuring receipt and processing of such reports.
- Providing reporting and tracking information for missionary furloughs, conference attendance, personnel locations, etc., as requested.
- Updating demographic information in the database. Communicating personnel and family changes to the Human Resources Department.
- Assisting with the planning/coordinating of various meetings and conferences, etc. including coordinating with the Corporate Events team to secure meeting space and food service as needed, preparing agenda, technology requirements and taking minutes.
- Sending letters to donors and churches regarding missionary personnel changes.
- Assisting with staff chapel by contacting missionaries to speak, compiling prayer requests and updates, etc.
- Monitoring and responding to incoming inquiries for the department (email, phone calls, etc.).
- Performs other duties or special projects as required or as assigned.
Qualifications: Ability to pass background check and all necessary clearances as mandated by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
Education: Associate’s Degree in office management or related field preferred or equivalent work experience.
Minimum Prior Experience Required: Previous experience in office administration, business or similar preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Previous experience with CRM/RMS software preferred.
