Essential Functions:
Responsible for recycling plastic material by use of the granulators and blending equipment so that this material is available to be reintroduced into the production system.
Understand and follow lock-out tag-out procedures for equipment.
Maintain organization of the incoming materials in the grinding area.
Maintain identity of product ground by properly labeling ground materials.
Have full containers of ground product pulled by the Material Handlers and replaced with a clean empty Gaylord with an appropriately sized liner.
Clean out grinders and blenders when appropriate to avoid contamination of materials.
Complete grinding log and blending log as instructed.
Maintain Housekeeping in the grinding and blending areas.
Adherence to all company policies and procedures.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or training in these responsibilities; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to do simple math; addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. Ability to add positive and negative numbers. Ability to demonstrate number recognition without transposing digits.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions read and write English, understand numbers.
Ability to write simple correspondence, numbers, and letters.
Ability to access computers and print labels. Ability to effectively present information.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
