Duties:
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations
- Sterilize and disinfect dental instruments
- Assist the dentist during procedures by handing them instruments and materials
- Take dental x-rays
- Prepare and maintain dental materials, equipment, and supplies
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices
- Schedule appointments and maintain patient records
- Provide support to front office staff as needed
Requirements:
- Completion of an accredited Dental Assistant program
- X-ray certification required
- Strong understanding of dental anatomy and medical terminology
