Head Coach (Minor Sport) oversees all activities of a minor athletic team. Plans and directs training of student athletes, and assesses individuals' abilities and skill level to determine appropriate team position. Being a Head Coach (Minor Sport) analyzes opposition team performance and capabilities and determines game strategy. Assists players in reaching highest athletic potential possible through athletic training and leadership skills. Additionally, Head Coach (Minor Sport) must be familiar with NCAA rules and regulations. Requires a bachelor's degree in the related area. Typically reports to a institutional officer. Head Coach (Minor Sport) is a specialist on complex technical and business matters. Work is highly independent. May assume a team lead role for the work group. Come join the team at HCI Sports & Fitness! As a premier sports and fitness center located in Bee Cave, our team is in search of a multi-sport Coach to join our growing All-Sports Program! If you have knowledge and experience in various team sports and would enjoy coaching youth camps and clinics, this position is for you!
Requirements
In joining our team, you’ll be responsible for:
- Leading youth camps and clinics in various sports - including basketball, volleyball, soccer, football, pickleball, cornhole, frisbee, and more!
- Greeting and welcoming participants, parents, and guests
- Ensuring training sessions are high energy, fun, safe, and creating a positive overall experience for participants
- Assisting with organizing, setting up, and cleaning up before and after camps and clinics

To be a great fit, you’ll have:
- Availability to work daytime hours this summer
- An enthusiastic, energetic, and positive personality!
- Experience working with children and basic knowledge of various team sports
- Excellent verbal and nonverbal communication skills, including the ability to listen and respond appropriately to children and adults
- A strong work ethic that includes punctuality, organization, and attention to detail
- Previous coaching or camp experience preferred, but not required
