Registered Nurse (RN) for Pediatrics
Thriving Pediatric Practice currently seeking a full-time RN with Pediatric experience to join our nursing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing direct patient care for pediatric patients from newborns up to the age of 21. Must have a commitment to excellent patient service. Candidate must communicate effectively, work cooperatively with others as a team, and be able to demonstrate leadership skills in their decision making and problem solving.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Observe, assess, triage and takes action on all patients according to protocol. Provides quality patient care: Obtain vital signs and patient history, administer medication and immunizations, perform and/or assist in procedures, process in house and send out labs, perform lab controls according to protocol, provide advice and counsel parents on medical treatment through telephone triage, document all assessments, actions, care and treatment responses in patient record in EMR, attend training sessions and meetings as required, contribute to patient care through patient and family education. Other duties as assigned and requested. Pediatric and/or primary care office experience required. Must be comfortable administering immunizations. Experience with telephone triage preferred. Must be comfortable using computer EMR, experience with eCW preferred.
Requirements: RN Certification required, CPR BLS Certified. Full-time Monday-Friday position with occasional Saturdays. Must have at least 1 years of pediatric experience
