Head Nurse - Pediatrics directs nursing service activities for assigned pediatric patients. Delegates responsibilities to pediatric staff nurses; supervises preparation and maintenance of pediatric patient clinical records, and writes reports on pediatrics staff performance and services rendered. Being a Head Nurse - Pediatrics maintains pre-set inventory standards for solutions, supplies, medicines and equipment, and keeps track of narcotics. Requires a bachelor's degree in nursing. Additionally, Head Nurse - Pediatrics requires Registered Nurse (RN). Typically reports to a director. The Head Nurse - Pediatrics manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Head Nurse - Pediatrics typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1-3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Front Office Assistant Manager/Scheduler

    We are looking for a Front Office Assistant Manager to help lead our front office on a daily basis. As a Front Office Assistant Manager, you will be directly responsible for the scheduling of our patients, which includes assisting the clinicians with their requests. You will assist in coordinating and managing the front office tasks.

    To be successful in this role, multi-tasking and stress management skills are essential, with knowledge of Practice scheduling. You should have a pleasant personality, as this is also a customer service role. This role may require working in shifts, so flexibility is a plus. Ultimately, a Front Office Assistant Managers duties and responsibilities are to ensure the front office tasks and responsibilities are executed efficiently and in a timely manner.

    Tasks

    • Scheduling our future appointments
    • Contacting Patients to reschedule missed appointments
    • Assisting clinicians with their appointment requests as needed
    • Coordinating Encounters that require scheduling

    Responsibilities

    • Overseeing the Registration of new patients/newborns
    • Overseeing Telephone calls/Faxes/Emails are processed timely
    • Ensuring Documents are uploaded to Patient Charts accurately
    • Assisting Office Manager in creating, training, and executing procedures

    Skills

    • Bilingual (English, Spanish) Preferred
    • Proven work experience in a similar role with demonstrable results
    • Professional attitude and appearance
    • Proficiency in customer service
    • Excellent organizational skills
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
    • Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g. fax machines and printers)
    • Solid written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise

    • Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
    • Customer service attitude
    • High school degree; additional certification in Office Management is a plus

    Salary: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour
