Job Overview

We are in search of a dedicated and experienced Senior SOC Support Analyst to join our remote team. This contract role presents an exceptional opportunity to thrive in a fast-paced and innovative environment. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge in IT security, audit methodologies, and have substantial experience with Security Operations Center (SOC) processes. We seek a professional who can operate autonomously and demonstrate proactive engagement from the outset.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and refine audit framework documentation, testing protocols, and operational procedures.
• Actively participate in the collection of evidence for audit processes.
• Initiate evidence requests from business stakeholders across various regions.
• Ensure robust communication between Global and Regional control owners regarding controls in scope.
• Prepare requisite responses and documentation for external auditors.
• Monitor and evaluate the execution of controls on a quarterly and monthly basis, following up with control owners as necessary.
• Compile SOC metrics to support the audit function and ensure thorough documentation.
• Oversee access rights management, provisioning/de-provisioning, and segregation of duties audits.
• Manage privileged access rights and troubleshoot associated challenges.
• Address issues related to direct access to databases, data files, and various access levels (OS, application, web, database, Active Directory).
• Apply advanced knowledge of networks, cloud, on-premises, and hybrid infrastructures.
• Assist in managing batch job processing, configurations, updates, and backups.
• Ensure real-time processing completeness, including configuration changes and transaction recordkeeping.
• Support endpoint security initiatives, encompassing antivirus, antimalware, and data loss prevention measures.
• Tackle challenges related to log management and incident/problem resolution.
• Contribute to change management, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English.

Qualifications

• Must be located within the EST or CST time zones.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in ISO 27001 implementation.
• Capacity to work independently from day one with little oversight.
• Practical experience in auditing and developing processes related to information security (INFOSEC).
• Experience in designing processes, documenting requirements, and establishing connections between processes.
• Familiarity with essential terms and concepts within the information security domain.
• Experience in managing large, complex infrastructures.
