Knowledge, skills, education, and/or experience
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and one (1)year of professional experience in a communicable disease or vaccine related health or social service program which shall have included responsibility for interviewing, investigating, and/or conducting public health care surveys, outreach, or patient care services.
Mandatory skills/certification(s) Requirement:
Microsoft Excel, excellent communication skills
This position will investigate cases of respiratory communicable disease including but not limited to COVID-19, RSV, and Pertussis. The individual will be responsible for completing case investigations, tracking case trends and outbreaks, maintaining disease statistics, and providing public health recommendations such as isolation and quarantine.
Job Duties in brief
The Program Compliance Specialist will work as part of the Vaccines for Children/317/Bridge programs on the healthcare compliance team.
·Assisting with the implementation of compliance-related activities including but not limited to vaccine restitution and vaccine inventory discrepancy investigation.
·Updating, maintaining, and managing tracking databases.
·Providing excellent customer service while supporting medical providers through re-vaccination, restitution, and reconciliation of vaccine inventory discrepancies.
Reviewing temperature monitoring and vaccine inventory data from healthcare providers.
This position will play a major role in ensuring that over 80 million dollars of vaccines are stored and managed appropriately amongst the approximately 900 enrolled providers throughout the state. The individual will be responsible for assisting with the implementation of compliance-related activities including not limited to vaccine restitution and vaccine inventory discrepancy investigation.
