Description

 This position is responsible for assemblies and subassemblies of various components. Must be skilled and multi-task as necessary. Know various products and be able to read orders and diagrams.  

 Lead by example with a Safety First mindset in every task 

• Ability to properly assemble parts and sub-assemblies and performs final tests 
• Must be able to complete repetitious assemblies 
• Must be able to perform all duties and responsibilities included in General Helper 
• Must perform all work in accordance with all applicable safety procedures 
• Regular attendance is essential 
• Read blue prints and diagrams
• Able to assemble various electrical cables and components
• Attention to detail
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Requirements

Minimum 

• To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty efficiently, safely and in an acceptable manner 
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; write routine reports and correspondence; follow written and/or verbal orders; read, write, speak and comprehend English 
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals 
• Capacity to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions; deal with problems involving variable in standardized situations; understand fundamental flow of shop material and its problems or material handling 

Preferred 

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

 Skills and Characteristics

• Ability to work in a fast paced environment 
• Must work well in a work setting with rotational work
