Being a Hotel Manager Assistant tends to all facets of hotel operations in the absence of the Hotel Manager. May require a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Hotel Manager Assistant typically reports to a manager. The Hotel Manager Assistant manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. POSITION SUMMARY - Develops and directs the overall marketing, public relations and sales effort for the hotel as they relate to room, food, beverage and meeting room sales, by providing conceptual and strategic thinking and planning. The development and solicitation of business from all markets to ensure the necessary advance bookings needed to generate forecasts sales for a successful and profitable operation for the hotel. Manage the sales department to meet client service needs through effective oral and written information exchange between sales and clients and all hotel departments, promoting client satisfaction and hotel profitability.
