Promontory Club is looking to fill a vacancy for a Home Services Housekeeping Manager – Full time.

The position of Housekeeping Manager provides support to the Housekeeping Team by working side by side with them. This includes laundry and cleaning services for Owner Homes, Rental Program Homes, and Model Homes.  The Housekeeping Manager will maintain the highest quality of cleanliness and follow all cleaning protocols provided by the Director of Home Services. Housekeeping is responsible to handle Owner requests and ensure issues are resolved as quickly as possible by your own actions or with the help of the Director of Home Services. The Housekeeping Manager will communicate directly with Owners in a professional and prompt manner.  The Housekeeping Manager will be responsible for scheduling Owner cleans, Rental cleans, Model cleans, and Staff schedules. The manager will track and order all necessary cleaning supplies and linens. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Training Staff.
• Covering shifts.
• Track and order Inventory.

• Ensure daily cleaning assignments are completed as scheduled.
• Report any broken equipment, or safety hazards to the Director of Home Services.
• Ensure cleaning check off lists and time tracking are complete and turn into Director of Home Services box.
• Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures, report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work practices to the Director of Home Services. Complete any safety training and certifications.
• Scheduling of staff members.
• Ensure the invoicing is turned in to the Director of Home Services.
• Work in the Laundry room to ensure linens are cleaned, folded, and organized.
• Work with the Director of Home Services to set the standard of cleanliness that is expected.
• Other duties as assigned by Director of Home Services.
• Entering invoices and member billing when needed.

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Promontory Development functions on a seven day per week basis. This position may be required to work different shifts, including holidays and weekends, to accommodate the changing needs of the business. The number of hours worked each week may vary to meet the changing demands of the business and may require more or less than 40 hours per week. Schedule is subject to change at any time.
• There may be occasions where it may be necessary for this position to serve as otherwise directed or needed to help maintain the effective and efficient operation of Promontory Home Services. This assignment will be at the discretion of the Director of Home Services or the Director of Operations. The Housekeeping Manager must be flexible as schedules are subject to change based on the needs of Promontory.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS AND CERTIFICATIONS: Must be at least 18 years of age.

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: At least 2 years in a supervisor role and a background in Housekeeping.  

WORKING KNOWLEDGE TO BE ACQUIRED ON JOB: Abide by Promontory policies and procedures, work independently with little supervision, be courteous and helpful with Promontory Club Members, Employees and maintain a positive attitude at all times.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to lift a minimum of 50lbs exerting up to 75lbs of force occasionally to move objects both horizontally and vertically, must be willing to work holidays and weekends when needed.

Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Wage starts at $25.00/hr and will be commensurate with experience upon employment.
