Job position summary: HACA is looking for a dynamic, experienced Director of Communications & Marketing to join our high-performing organization! This position reports to the Chief Operating Officer, works closely with the CEO and executive staff, and is responsible for developing and guiding the strategy for all communications, website, social media, and public relations messages and collateral to articulate HACA's mission consistently. HACA is kicking off an exciting multi-year strategic plan, and this position will play a pivotal role in elevating powerful resident stories and agency achievements. Qualifications and Knowledge: Required Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university and four years related experience in communications and marketing; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Excellent writing and editing skills. Experience in public relations, including working effectively with local media, elected officials, stakeholders, and the public. Preferred: Master's degree from a four-year college or university and two to five years of experience; or Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university and five to seven years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
