Housing Director oversees all aspects of on-campus housing for students. Assigns residence hall managers to each dormitory. Being a Housing Director reviews and updates all housing policies to ensure the safety of residents. May also be in charge of an off-campus housing program. Additionally, Housing Director typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a senior institutional officer. The Housing Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. To be a Housing Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. This position will be responsible for overall management of a student housing program at one of the client schools. This will include property management, and student services functions. The position will be responsible for supporting future and current students with their housing needs through a high volume of communication, interaction and follow up, while creating a culture of positivity and personal growth. It will be the responsibility of the DIRECTOR OF RESIDENT LIFE to embrace and nurture a relationship in a mature way, with the Compass Rose Student Housing partners, customers and clients by continually going above and beyond thereby creating a great customer service experience.
Property Management or Leasing experience are a good background for this position

- Must have reliable transportation
