Housing Director oversees all aspects of on-campus housing for students. Assigns residence hall managers to each dormitory. Being a Housing Director reviews and updates all housing policies to ensure the safety of residents. May also be in charge of an off-campus housing program. Additionally, Housing Director typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a senior institutional officer. The Housing Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. To be a Housing Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. 3. Must have the ability to perform the following duties: a) landscaping, plant knowledge and yard work b) sprinkler system maintenance helpful c) back-flow certification is a plus d) computer experience Excel, and Word helpful e) general interior and exterior home repairs helpful
4. Compliance with all OSHA regulations and any applicable laws regarding health, safety, or environment.
5. Team player, communication and employability skills.
6. Customer service experience required must be good with public.
EDUCATION: A high school education or equivalent is required (college hours preferred).
We also do background check, criminal check and drug testing.
Hours of operation for the property are: Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
