PeaceHealth is seeking a HR Data Strategist. This remote role requires the incumbent to reside in OR, WA, AK or TX by date of hire.
The HR Data Strategist is charged with understanding the organization's objectives, challenges and leveraging available data to provide business recommendations and strategy aligned with the organization's needs. The HR Data Strategist will work with HR leadership and other stakeholders to understand and analyze business needs and identify areas where data can add value. This role will collect, organize and analyze the relevant data and use a wide variety of tools and techniques to extract useful information, enabling in-depth analysis to uncover trends, patterns and insights for informed decision-making and present findings and recommendations clearly and concisely to leadership. Partners closely with HR Technology and other HR departments. This position may also lead or actively participate on projects within HR and support collection of data.
What You Will Enjoy
- Consults with HR leadership, key organizational stakeholders and HR Technology to identify/clarify business challenges and objectives. Provides data interpretation, designs self-serve models, and provides recommendations to leaders.
- Queries and combines data from a variety of sources; generates reports and conducts research to support decision making and anticipating business needs. Works closely with key stake holders to understand potential data issues and recommends solutions to meet organizational goals. Elicits requirements and translates into solution design, and project plan tasks.
- Identifies and recommends internal improvement opportunities and contributes in making these improvements utilizing sound quality improvement techniques, methods and tools.
- Creates written narrative summaries that include summary of findings, trends of interest, and opportunities for consideration.
- Supports collection of data for benchmarking and other surveys as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
What You Will Bring
- Bachelor's (or advanced) Degree Human Resources or Analytics or related field or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
- Minimum of 5 years Analytic experience to include experience with statistical methods of aggregation, averaging, etc, and business intelligence/query/reporting tools such as Crystal Reports, SQL, TSQL, Visual Basic, SSRS, or Microsoft Office analysis tools.
- Minimum of 3 years experience working in Human Resources.
- Project management, Lean Process improvement skills, and supervisory experience is preferred.
- Project Management Professional Certification or Certified Senior Professional Human Resources preferred.

The salary range for this job opening at PeaceHealth is $44.25 – $66.37. The hiring rate is dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to education, training, work experience, terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement, seniority, etc.
