HR Data Supervisor supervises the deployment and administration of operational processes used to deliver HR programs and projects. Collaborates with stakeholders to provide consultation, process design, and project management of HR program implementations and initiatives like compensation, benefits, performance management, or training. Being an HR Data Supervisor delivers scalable methodologies and tools to optimize HR operations and streamline core processes like onboarding, hiring, terminations, retirements, timekeeping, and others that make up the employment life-cycle. Oversees employee data management processes to ensure that data is secure and maintained consistent with company policies and privacy regulations and that required reporting and filings are delivered. Additionally, HR Data Supervisor evaluates, selects, and manages HR process outsourcing vendors and contracts. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The HR Data Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. We have a Full-time or Part-Time open position for an HR Generalist as an Independent Contractor status. Seeking the right candidate who is interested in non-traditional, flexible work arrangements to work on-site and off-site serving our clients in OC, LA, San Bernardino and Ventura counties. Are you interested in flexible work availability assisting our clients with day-to day transactional and project-based assignments, on-call, on-site or remote HR support?
Only applicants residing in the Southern California will be considered due to some work requiring on-site at the client location at times. Here is some of what the on-site and remote work entail:
· Respond to calls and emails daily to assist and guide clients with random compliance questions (or in-person if on-site).
· Consult on disciplinary actions: involving personnel issues, including documentation, write-up (PIPs/CAPs), guide clients on disciplinary action protocols.
· Assist clients with process for terminations or conduct terminations.
· Handle matters involving employee relations: Engage, address, answer employee inquiries regarding their complaints, concerns, clarifications on policies, etc. (via phone, email or in-person if on-site).
· Draft employee policies.
· Ability to assist with conflict resolution.
· Conduct New Hire Orientations via in-person or virtual (Zoom).
· Conduct various assigned employee trainings.
· Handle pre-employment processes for on-boarding new employees.

Here are what skills you should be prepared to bring to the table:
· Minimum of 3 years of progressive HR Generalist experience encompassing administrative responsibilities.
· Must be proficient in specific CA Labor Laws.
· Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and take the initiative to solve problems independently.
· An unwavering aptitude for ways to clearly communicate with management and employees.
· An inviting personality that is both professional and efficient
· A proficient “documenter”
· Familiarity with project management
· Ethical commitment to your work and discretion in sensitive and confidential HR matters
Major Pluses:
· PHR, SPHR or SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, California Specialty Credentials
This is a flexible Independent Contractor arrangement with an hourly base wage of $35-$45, dependent upon the level of work required. Other pay incentives offered.
